Language courses:

 

Football is a global business and the need to overcome language barriers increases by the day. Managers, coaches and players move from country to country and it is vital for them to be able to communicate and integrate with the new team.

 

Managers: it is absolutely crucial a manager can communicate with his team in the language of the country where he is working. Each manager will want to focus on specific priorities, be that press conferences, team briefings, working with the team on the training ground and communicating tactical moves to them. CFL Ltd. will sit down with the manager and put together a bespoke lesson plan for the manager, and at all times be flexible should the manager want to focus on another detail in his lessons.

 

Coaches: a new manager/Head Coach will generally come to a new club with his coaching staff, who will also need to improve their language skills within the new country they will be working in. Again the CFL Ltd. language tutor will sit down with the coach, discuss what is important for the coach and structure his/her lessons accordingly.

 

Players: an excellent language support contributes to reinforcing their confidence and ability to interact with team-mates. Ultimately it has a direct benefit on their performances on the pitch.

 

Club/FA staff: very often CFL has been asked to provide club staff with language lessons. We tailor-make the lessons for the club staff so that they can get the maximum benefit out of their lessons

 

Through the years, Clark Football Languages has developed the THREE PILLARS technique, a reliable and effective teaching method totally centred on football with the aim of bringing participants to an optimal level in the shortest time possible.

 

Each language programme is tailored to the specific needs of each participant. We analyse and differentiate the requirements for a manager versus a player or a player’s agent; and likewise the different roles within a team. We put in place an effective plan to get each player to a satisfactory level where communication flow on the pitch/in the dressing room/in technical meetings/briefings has a direct positive impact on the team’s performance.

 

Football language lessons is a very unique service and it is vital that the football language tutor is experienced, knows his football inside out and is the absolute right tutor for the manager, coach or player involved. CFL Ltd. specialises in this area and we have regular CFL football language tutor training sessions with role plays to ensure that we will always provide the best tutor in question.

 

CFL Ltd. also specialises in getting non-EU players through their Home Office English test and we have the contacts within government approved test centres to organise the appropriate test for the player in question.
